Federal officials say a Princeton couple is facing federal charges for a one-million-dollar mail and identity theft scheme and firearms offenses.

44-year-old Michael Wright and 35-year-old Cortney Young have both been charged with mail theft.

Wright is also charged with unlawful possession of a mail key, access device fraud, aggravated identity theft, possession of ammunition by a previously convicted felon, and possession of a machine gun.

Young was also charged with possession of a firearm by a previously convicted felon.

The couple is accused of being involved in the theft of mail from mail collection boxes with a special key from the United Postal Service.

During a search of their residence, authorities found over one-million dollars in stolen checks, guns, and ammunition.
