Come to the Table Community Lunch

Memorial Hospital and Health Care Center in Jasper is offering, “Change the Life you Live: Diabetes.”   These classes offer the opportunity to achieve optimal health while living with diabetes. 2019 Daviess Co. Christmas Parade

September 9 - November 27

Preparations are already underway for the 2019 Daviess County Christmas Parade. This year’s parade will once again be a lighted parade and will take place Saturday, December 7th beginning at 6:00 PM. South Knox Blood Drive

The American Red Cross will hold a blood drive Tuesday, September 17th at South Knox Elementary School at 6078 East State Road 61 in Vincennes from 3:00 to 7:00 PM. All blood types are needed. Gaming Training Session in Washington

September 17 @ 6:00 pm

The Washington VFW will host a training session by the Indiana Gaming Commission concerning the many changes in gaming rules and policies that took effect in July of this year. It will be held on Tuesday, September 17th at 6:00 PM in the VFW’s upstairs hall at 3 East Main Street in Washington. The training session is open to the public. Memory Café

September 19 @ 2:00 pm - 4:00 pm

Beginning in September, the Sisters of Providence of Saint Mary-of-the-Woods, Indiana, will host a Memory Café each month through August 2020. A Memory Café is a welcoming place where people living with early to moderate dementia and their caregivers can gather. The event will take place from 2 to 4 p.m. in the Havlik Center located in Providence Hall. The first is scheduled for Sept. 19th. The programs will take place on the third Sunday of each month.

SMW: Coffee with the Mystics.

Come out to Saint Mary-of-the-Woods, Indiana, and join the Sisters of Providence for two workshops in September on Coffee with the Mystics. From 10 a.m. to noon, on Sept. 21 and from 9:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m., on Sept. 24. in the Providence Hall Large Conference Room. The cost to attend is $10.
