Good Samaritan Hospital Accepting Donations for Patient Supply Closet

October 1 - December 31

The oncology Department at Good Samaritan Hospital is accepting donations for its Patient Supply closet. Some of the items needed include Toothbrushes, Bar of Soap, Laundry Detergent, Sponges and All-purpose cleaners. If you have items to donate, call Leslie Hofmann at 812-885-3990 for pick up. (TFN)

Holiday Events at Dubois County Museum

The Dubois County Museum opens their Christmas holiday season on Thursday, November 15, with the opening of the annual Festival of Trees. The holiday season also features these scheduled programs: Sunday, Nov 18—2pm Haysville Ruritan holds Ruritan annual raffle drawing. Thursday, Nov 22—Closed Thanksgiving Sunday, Nov 25 at 1:15pm—Kinder Karneval  German Festival for children put on by JHS students studying German. Produce Safety Rule Training

Registration continues for Produce Safety Rule Training December 19th in Washington. The training session runs from 9:00 AM until 5:00 PM at Purdue Extension Daviess County in the Daviess County Security Center. Patoka Lake Eagle Watch

The public is invited to attend the 31st Annual Eagle Watch at the Patoka Lake Nature Center on Saturday, January 5th at 10:00 AM. You can view wild eagles around the lake on driving tours and attend an indoor program featuring LIVE birds of prey. A catered lunch will be provided. The cost is $15 per person. Health Screening at Jasper Memorial Hospital
