The Martin County Sheriff’s Office says Martin County residents are receiving scam calls asking for donations for or in memory of Shoals Town Marshall Todd Eckert.
The phone number being used currently is the Shoals Town Hall 812-247-2110.
Through technology, scammers can use any phone number they want to call you in order to make the call seem more legit.
If you receive one of these calls don’t give any money or provide any information to the caller.
