Evansville Central erupted for nine runs in the fifth inning and went on to beat Vincennes Lincoln 13-2 in
baseball action last night.  Cayden McCrary and Jayden Ray each had two hits for the Alices, who fall to 5-2 on
the season.
Shakamak beat Vincennes Rivet 9-1.  Jayden Thacker and Hunter Bilskie had two hits each for the Patriots.
South Knox rolled past Pike Central 14-2.  Nine runs in the final two innings led to the Spartans taking the six-inning victory.  Kaden McKinney got the win on the mound; he also scored four runs in the victory.
The South Knox Tennis team blanked Pike Central 5-0.  Winning in singles play were Abby Cunningham,
Alli Hayden and Grace Arnold.  In doubles play…the number one duo of Caroline Beard and Grace Carie were
victorious at live while Emma Whaley and Emily Drieman also won at number two doubles.
The Lincoln softball team won its fifth straight, beating North Daviess 9-5.  Miley Carie-Frederick led with four hits while
Grace Archer had two hits, including a home run.  Kahre McCrary, Matti Collins and Amya Woodall each had two hits for
the Alices, who move to 5-4 on the season.
The South Knox softball team scored 13 runs in the third inning and went on to beat Shoals 25-0.  Ally Sims picked up the win
and drove in five runs while Rayce Cates added three RBI’s as the Spartans are now 5-3.
Ally Crist tossed a four-hit Shutout and struck out six as North Knox blanked Bloomfield 2-0.  Crist also added two hits as the
Warriors move to 5-4 on the year.
The Clark Middle School Softball team beat South Knox 11-2.  Olivia Lewis had two hits and three RBI’s.  Clark won the B game 15-2.  Brinley Catt had two hits and drove in four runs for CMS.

Vincennes Rivet Baseball hosts Wood Memorial at six and you can watch the live stream at waovam.com.
North Knox Baseball visits Southridge at six.
The Lincoln softball team plays at Terre Haute South at 5:30.
Rivet tennis team visits Barr-Reeve at 4:30
South Knox tennis team hosts Mater Dei at 5:30.
The Lincoln, South Knox and North Knox track teams take part in the Linton Invitational.
There will be an organizational meeting for anyone interested in Church League Softball this summer.  The meeting will be this Sunday at the softball field at Community Church on Hart Street across from Lincoln High School.  Anyone with questions should call Ralph Connor at 812-881-7314.
