Washington Police Arrested Woman for OWI

Washington Police arrested a Washington Woman early Thursday following a call to dispatch from the husband of the person arrested saying the wife took their vehicle without permission and may be impaired.

Police around 11:24 PM Wednesday Evening met with the husband and received information to track down a 2002 Chrysler Town and County Minivan with Georgia plates. Around 1:22 AM, officers spotted the vehicle and conducted a traffic stop on 54-year-old Tereasa L. Brown-Lewis in the area of State and Southeast 15th Streets. Following a chemical test, Brown-Lewis was taken into custody for operating while intoxicated and booked into the Daviess County Security Center, where she is being held without bond.
