Indiana basketball legend Larry Bird will attend the grand opening of the Larry Bird Museum in Terre Haute.
The museum will open to the public on Friday, May 31st while a ribbon cutting will be May 30th at 10:30 a.m.
Bird grew up in French Lick, Indiana and led the Indiana State Sycamores to the NCAA championship, losing to Magic Johnson and the Michigan State Spartans.
