Kelley McCarty is the recipient of the Knox County Chamber of Commerce’s 2024 Educator of the Year award.
McCarty has 25 years of experience in education, including tenure at Vincennes University and the Vincennes Community School Corporation.
The award recognizes outstanding educators in Knox County’s K-12 public or private school systems.
Mcarty will be honored at an award dinner Wednesday, May 1st at the Highland Woods Community Center.
She will also receive $250 from the Knox County Chamber of Commerce to support her classroom needs.
