A wanted Vincennes man crashed his pick-up truck into a concrete barrier at State Road 67 and US 41 early Thursday morning during a police pursuit.

24-Jacob Heiden-Waterhouse had earlier fled Knox County Sheriff’s deputies after being seen at the Bicknell Chuckle’s store.

During the chase, he was seen throwing items out of the window.

Following the crash, he was arrested while making a failed attempt to run from the scene.

Heiden-Waterhouse was booked into the Knox County Jail on an outstanding felony probation violation warrant as well as new charges of Resisting Law Enforcement, Possession of a Controlled Substance, and Reckless Driving.
