CenterPoint Energy is putting in a lot of effort to get the power back on for people living in Evansville and the nearby areas.
On Tuesday around 4:00 p.m., their outage map showed that more than 15,000 customers still didn’t have electricity because of the strong storms that passed through the Tri-State region.
At its worst on Tuesday, the outages affected around 24,000 people.
CenterPoint says they have over 100 crews, including teams from other places restoring power.
