NCAA Furloughing Staff As Cost-Cutting Measure

The NCAA will furlough its entire staff of nearly 600 employees in Indianapolis for three to eight weeks, according to The Associated Press. The memo from NCAA President Mark Emmert was sent to all member schools, saying it is a “cost-saving move,” as the association is struggling financially, mostly due to the cancellation of the men’s basketball tournament back in March. The furloughs will begin September
