The Knox County Commissioners on Tuesday had a busy meeting. During their session at the courthouse, they hired Elite Environmental to help remove asbestos from the Poor Farm House. The board also approved the annual incarcerated offender agreement for 2021 and has an agreement in place with CSX on work on an overpass south of Oaktown. The agreement calls for INDOT to pay for 80% of the work with the county paying 20%. Finally, the board was notified of completed work on Dutch Hinkle Road. The work was to fix an issue with a steep embankment .
