Remnants of Hurricane Isaias could bring heavy rain, gusty winds and brief tornadoes to Indiana this weekend, with the main window Saturday night into Sunday morning.
National Weather Service forecaster Jason Puma says Isaias is expected to make landfall near the Alabama-Florida border and track north through Alabama and Tennessee toward Kentucky and southern Indiana.
Southerly winds and a high-pressure system to the east could help steer it toward the state.
Gusts could reach 40 to 50 mph, but heavy rain remains the primary threat.
