Pace Community Action Agency will begin taking applications October 1st for its 2026-2027 Energy Assistance Program, which helps income-qualified households in Daviess, Greene, Knox, and Sullivan Counties cover their primary heating costs.
Starting October 1st, applications will be available online, at Pace sites, and at most local libraries.
Elderly clients who received help last season will get an application by mail.
Pace will hold application assistance events across its four-county service area, along with monthly sessions in Knox County.

Since it can take up to 55 days to determine eligibility, Pace encourages applying early.
