Indiana State Police say a former Jackson County Sheriff’s deputy was arrested Monday on charges related to him improperly accessing license plate reader, or Flock data, over an eight-month period.
31-year-old Skylar Thompson is accused of searching for the same registration plate number over 2,000 times between December 2025 and August 2026 through his Flock account access.
Thompson was charged with one count of Felony Official Misconduct and one count of Misdemeanor Fraud.
Thompson is no longer employed with the Jackson County Sheriff’s Department.
