911 Call Leads to Arrest of Duo in Gibson Co. for Trespassing

Two people were arrested Saturday for trespassing on a train at a factory near County Road 350 South and US 41 in Gibson County.

Gibson County Sheriff’s deputies responded to the scene shortly before noon following receipt of a 911 call.

44-year-old Steven Wetzel of Alma, Michigan and 45-year-old Amanda Deroo of San Antonio, Texas were taken into custody following a brief investigation.

Wetzel was charged with Possession of Methamphetamines, Possession of a Hypodermic Syringe, Possession of Paraphernalia, and Criminal Trespass.

Deroo was arrested for Criminal Trespass.
