Indiana State Senator Daryl Schmitt of Jasper is holding a series of town halls to hear from District 48 residents.
Meetings begin later this month and continue into September and are scheduled for Chrisney, Derby, Petersburg, Princeton, Marengo and Huntingburg.

Schmitt represents Crawford, Dubois, Gibson, Perry, Pike, and Spencer counties.
- 5:30 to 7 p.m. CT on Tuesday, Aug. 25, at the Spencer County Youth and Community Center, 1101 E. County R. 800 N., Chrisney;
- 5:30 to 7 p.m. CT on Wednesday, Aug. 26, at the Derby Community Center, 12800 N. State Road 66, Derby;
- 6 to 7:30 p.m. ET on Tuesday, Sept. 8, at The Vault on Main, 618 Main St., Petersburg;
- 5:30 to 7 p.m. CT on Monday, Sept. 14, at Dick Clark’s Family Restaurant, 702 N. Princeton St., Princeton;
- 5:30 to 7 p.m. ET on Wednesday, Sept. 16, at the Crawford County Fairgrounds, 1095 State Road 66, Marengo; and
- 5:30 to 7 p.m. ET on Monday, Sept. 21, at Venue 1408, 1408 N. Main St., Huntingburg.
