A WalletHub study says Indiana has the worst early education system in America.

The study says Indiana ranked 46th in the share of three and four-year-olds enrolled in pre-K, pre-K Special Education and Head Start.

It ranked 19th for the Income Requirement for State Pre-K Eligibility.

The Hoosier state also ranked 25th in total Reported Spending per Child Enrolled in Preschool.

15th in total State Head Start Program Spending per Child Enrolled in Preschool.

And the state ranked 46th in Monthly Child Care Co-Payment Fees as a Percent of Family Income
