Failure to Move Over Leads to OWI Arrest in Knox County

An Illinois man is facing charges of Operating a Vehicle While Intoxicated – Endangering a Person and Resisting Law Enforcement following a traffic stop Sunday evening in Knox County.

58-year-old Anthony Mason was pulled over after he failed to move over to the passing lane for a state trooper who was parked along the side of US 41 near Camp Arthur Road with his emergency lights activated.

Police say there were no other vehicles that would have prevented him from doing so.
