Indiana Attorney General Todd Rokita is investigating 30 major fuel retailers for price gouging.
Rokita says his office has received over 170 complaints from consumers since Governor Mike Braun issued an energy emergency on April 8th.
He says they are looking at each complaint and says price gouging investigations are “pretty complex.”
Companies that are found to have been price gouging will be charged a fine for every violation and be required to relinquish profits from those sales.
