Senator Todd Young is joining over one hundred of his colleagues in a push to restrict mail-order abortion drugs.
The group filed a brief with the Supreme Court supporting a Louisiana lawsuit that seeks to reinstate in-person dispensing requirements for mifepristone.
Young argues that removing these requirements puts women in danger, citing cases where the drugs were used for coercion.
The move asks the High Court to uphold a recent appeals court ruling that would end the practice of mailing the pills while the legal battle continues.
