Good Samaritan Implements Safety Measures During Vincennes and Knox County Boil Order

Good Samaritan Hospital remains open and fully operational during the Boil Order in effect through Tuesday, April 21st issued Friday by Vincennes Water Utilities and Knox County Water.

The hospital says it is taking all recommended precautions, including using bottled and treated water for patient care and applying extra safety measures throughout the hospital.

GSH reminds the public:

• Do not drink tap water unless boiled (bring to a rolling boil for at least 1 minute, or 3 minutes if preferred, then cool before use).
• Use bottled or boiled water for drinking and brushing teeth.
• Follow guidance from local water authorities and health officials.
