Washington Catholic Schools Receive Teaching Innovator Grant to Introduce Kindergarten Students to the Arctic

Our Community Foundation has awarded a $250 second-semester Teaching Innovator Grant to Washington Catholic Schools to support Arctic Adventures: Exploring the Wonders of the Frozen.

OCF says the Arctic Adventures project, among other things, introduces kindergarten students to the wonders of the Arctic through engaging, hands-on science and literacy activities.

Washington Catholic Teacher, Madison Wagler, accepted the award and was named a Teaching Innovator.
