Road Closure Planned for State Road 48 In Greene County

The Indiana Department of Transportation advises that State Road 48 near Jasonville in Greene County is scheduled to close on or around Monday, April 27th.

This closure will occur between County Road 800 West and County Road 900 West over Howesville Ditch.

The closure will allow for a bridge deck overlay project which is expected to last through the beginning of July, depending on the weather.

The official detour will be State Road 59 to State Road 54 to U.S. 231 to State Road 157.

Local traffic will have access up to the point of closure.
