The average price of gas in Indiana Friday was $3.87 a gallon, 15¢ higher than Thursday.
The Triple A Motor Club says Indiana’s average was also 50¢ lower than Friday’s national average of $4.37 per gallon.
It was also 8¢ higher than a week ago, 39¢ higher than a month ago, and 95¢ higher than a year ago.
Remember, Indiana’s gas prices are being offset by about 60¢ per gallon due to the suspension of the state’s Gasoline Use Tax and Gasoline Excise Tax.
Meanwhile Triple-A says the average price of diesel fuel in Indiana on Friday was $6.66 a gallon, 1¢ lower than Thursday, and 14¢ lower than a week ago.
It was also 73¢ higher than a month ago and $2.85 higher than a year ago.
And the average EV charging price in Indiana on Friday was 43¢ per kilowatt hour, the same as Thursday, and 1¢ higher than Friday’s national average.
