Indiana State Police seized 277 pounds of cocaine Sunday with an estimated street value of 3.8 million dollars.
The drugs were discovered during a traffic stop involving a commercial motor vehicle inspection on I-70 in Putnam County.
The driver, 32-year-old Harpreet Singh of Greenwood Indiana, said he was transporting an empty trailer from Memphis, Tennessee to Indianapolis.
During the stop, the Interdiction Trooper determined Singh was operating below industry standards and his vehicle was impounded.
The cocaine was found in several duffle bags in the vehicle.
Singh is charged with Dealing in and Possession of a Narcotic Drug.
