Holiday Travel Rush Underway

The Labor Day holiday travel rush is on, with some of the heaviest traffic today.

Airports will also be busy with the TSA expecting to screen more than 17-million people by the end of next Wednesday.

Triple-A says average roundtrip airfares are up two percent from last year.

Gas prices, meanwhile, are the highest they’ve ever been for this time of year with the national average sitting at $4.14.
