Indiana has achieved the second-largest drop in veteran homelessness nationwide.
Since taking office, Governor Mike Braun says he has doubled the resources allocated to nonprofits that support Hoosier veterans, leveraging more efficient and targeted funding decisions.
As a result, Braun says Indiana recorded an 18.7% decline in veteran homelessness in 2025, marking the second-largest percentage decrease of any state, according to the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development.
