Birdseye Man Makes Initial Court Appearance on Firearm Possession Charge

47-year-old William Gregory of Birdseye made his initial court appearance Thursday in Dubois Circuit Court on a charge of Unlawful Possession of a Firearm by a Domestic Batterer.

The Dubois County Prosecutor’s Office says the charge stems from an incident that occurred in the early morning hours of August 8th at a residence on Taylor-Hollow Road in Birdseye where a person received an accidental gunshot wound under the chin.
