The Knox County Sheriff’s Office says the start of construction on the Willow Street exit off Highway 41 southbound has been pushed back to Tuesday, September first.
It had been scheduled to begin next Monday.
The work is part of a project to widen both sides of the exit ramp to accommodate larger vehicles and make the turning movement more accessible.
At the exit you can expect a shift to either the left or the right of the ramp depending on which side construction is taking place.
There will be advanced warning signs on U.S. 41 as well.
On Willow Street the right northbound lane will be closed headed back into Vincennes.
Construction will end on or around September 18th depending on the weather.
