Police say five people are in custody after a jewelry store robbery in Indianapolis led to a police chase through several central Indiana counties.
The robbery happened around 1 p.m. on Monday on the city’s southeast side, where police say employees had been restrained, but were not injured.
Police say more than two-million dollars’ worth of jewelry, precious metals and cash were stolen at gunpoint.
The suspect vehicle was located in Boone County before the chase ended in Clinton County, where the five people inside were taken into custody and evidence recovered.
