Beginning January 1st, certain Healthy Indiana Plan members ages 19–64 will need to complete 80 hours each month through work, part-time education, job training, or community service—unless exempt.
To help HIP members check to see if they would be subject to or exempt from HIP Work Requirements, the Family and Social Services Administration has created a HIP Work Requirements Pre-Screening Tool.
It’s available at myfssa.in.gov and in the “Am I Eligible to Receive Benefits?” section of the FSSA Benefits Portal.
