Washington to Conduct Public Hearings on Wheel Tax and Data Center Moratorium

The Washington City Council will hold two public hearings Monday in council chambers.

The first hearing starts at 6:30 p.m. and will focus on a proposed Municipal Wheel Tax and Motor Vehicle Excise Tax ordinance.

Right after that, council members will take comments on a proposal to temporarily pause development of data centers.

Both ordinances are up for final reading later that evening.
