The Indiana Department of Transportation says the intersection of State Road 64 and State Road 162 near Bretzville in Dubois County is scheduled for closure Thursday/7-30-26 for an on-going intersection improvement project.
IN-DOT says work is expected to last through August 4th, depending on the weather.
The official detour for State Road 64 will be U.S. 231 to I-64 to State Road 37 while the detour for State Road 162 will be I-64 to U.S. 231.
Local traffic will have access up to the point of closure.
The work is part of a project to install a roundabout at the intersection.
Completion of the roundabout is expected in October.
