Pike Co. Man Flees into Floodwaters to Avoid Traffic Stop

The Gibson County Sheriff’s Office says a Pike County man who drove his vehicle into floodwaters while fleeing a traffic stop is now charged with two counts of Resisting Law Enforcement.

It happened on Sunday on State Road 64 at the county line.

When the deputy finally caught up with 65-year-old Terry Lee of Winslow, he had to order him out of his vehicle at gunpoint.
