Forecasters are warning that the eastern U.S. will be hotter than a firecracker in the coming week.
The massive heat wave should hit the U.S. this weekend, sending temperatures into the triple digits, and could last through Independence Day.
On Monday, St. Louis could hit 106 degrees, Chicago 102, and Little Rock, Arkansas could see 106.
On Wednesday, Cincinnati could see 107, while Nashville and Detroit could hit 104 degrees.
By Wednesday, Washington, DC could hit a scorching 111 degrees.
