South Knox’s Alli Hayden Ends Tennis Career With Statewide Showcase

South KNox  Senior Alli Hayden participated in the North vs. South Girls Tennis All-Star Match in Pendleton, IN on Sunday, June 14th with 25 other seniors. The match consisted of three rounds, and points were accumulated for either the North or South based on scores.

In the first round, Alli played doubles with Ally McKinney (Sullivan) against Jenna Berry (Westfield) and Sydney Holley (Zionsville). They lost the set 4-6. In the second round, Alli played doubles with Katherine Noga (Brebeuf Jesuit) against MacKenzie Kania (Chesterton) and Sydney Crisp (Blue River Valley). They won the set 6-1. In the final round, the girls played super tiebreakers. Alli played singles against Riley Glassley (Fort Wayne Carroll) and lost 7-10. However, Alli and the South Team ended up victorious on the day, winning by a score of 35-27.
