A man from Bloomfield, 43-year-old Christopher David Sheese, has been sentenced to over 15 years in federal prison for possessing and distributing child sexual abuse material.
Investigators from the Indiana Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force identified Sheese after a cyber-tip about his activity on Kik, where he shared images and videos involving minors, including infants.
His phone contained thousands of such files.
Sheese, a registered sex offender, had prior convictions in 2014 and 2019 for similar offenses involving child abuse material.
