Oakland City University will lay off employees at the end of the month.
Word of the layoffs comes as OCU is struggling to pay over 100 employees as they have not received their paycheck yet for May 8th and are due to be paid again this Friday.
The university is suspending their undergraduate programs for this coming academic year as well and are planning to resume academic operations in the fall of 2027.
