Washington Residents Reminded that Blowing Grass into the Street is a Violation of City Ordinance

The Washington Street Department is reminding residents that blowing grass into city streets is a violation of city ordinance.

Blowing grass or other yard debris into the street is a violation unless it is immediately removed.

The street department does not pick up bagged grass, bagged leaves, or yard waste.

It will take call-in orders for limbs only.

Bagged grass, leaves, and yard waste may be brought to the Street Department/Recycling Center at 220 Memorial Avenue.
