Thermos is recalling more than eight-million containers due to customer injuries.
The recall follows cases of consumers suffering lacerations, with some reporting permanent vision loss, after the stoppers popped off and hit them in the face.
According to the Consumer Product Safety Commission, affected products include Stainless King Food Jars as well as Sportsman Food and Beverage Bottles that were sold at Target, Walmart and other stores nationwide and online at Amazon.com, Walmart.com, Target.com and Thermos.com between March 2008 and July 2024 for about $30.
