For the eleventh year, Corteva and the Indiana State Fair will highlight Indiana’s Featured Farmers. This program allows community members to meet those behind Indiana agriculture. Hoosier farmers and producers power the state’s agriculture industry with a wide range of products.
Featured Farmers recognizes 15 farm families from all across Indiana producing a variety of agriculture products. Through the 15-day Indiana State Fair, August 7-23, being closed on Mondays, each family will be highlighted and share their story with visitors.
Ray Allison, Executive Director of the Indiana State Fair Commission, shared ““Our Featured Farmers program allows guests to connect directly with Hoosier farm families and learn more about the dedication it takes to grow the food we rely on every day. We are proud to continue this tradition and grateful for Corteva’s partnership in helping tell these stories.”
Fairgoers have the opportunity to attend a daily live chat in the Glass Barn with the Featured Farmer. Additionally, there are opportunities throughout the fair to meet farm families and learn about their operations. More info can be found at IndianaStateFair.com.
“We’re so proud to support the Featured Farmers program to help shine a light on the many contributions of farmers to our local communities and way of life,” said Audrey Grimm, chief people officer at Corteva.
