The Vincennes University Board of Trustees has approved a housing project that will modernize campus accommodations and enhance partnerships with employers like Amazon and Walmart.
The initiative centers on redeveloping Godare Hall into an all-private-room facility, supporting apprenticeship and technical training needs for adult learners and traditional students.
David Tucker, Vice President of Workforce Development and Community Services, emphasized VU’s commitment to providing quality housing and social spaces aligned with industry standards.
The plan also includes updating Vanderburgh Hall for traditional student housing.
The university says these improvements reinforce VU’s role as a premier provider of industry-focused education and affordable, modern on-campus living.
