The Gibson County Sheriff’s Office says a Kentucky woman was arrested earlier this week in connection with an investigation into a disturbance in Oakland City.
Authorities say 32-year-old Samantha Hudspeth of Centertown, Kentucky initially gave deputies a false name.
After being identified, she ran from the scene.
After a brief chase, Hudspeth was taken into custody.
She was found to be in possession of illegal drugs.
Hudspeth is facing charges of Resisting/Fleeing Law Enforcement, Possession of Methamphetamine, Possession of a Legend Drug, and Possession of Paraphernalia.
