In baseball last night:
The North Knox Warriors win at home 8-5 over Pike Central. The Warriors lifted seven hits and two homers in the game—one each by Korbon Jones and Kason Oxby. Rylan Oxby pitched three and two-thirds innings for the victory. The Warriors even their overall record at 1-1.
Heritage Hills scored 17 third inning runs en route to a 20-2 victory over South Knox last night. The Spartans are 0-4 to start the season.
The Rivet Lady Patriot tennis team defeated North Daviess 3-2 yesterday at North Daviess.
Rivet winners included Madalynn Britton at Number 3 singles, along with both doubles teams—Jacklyn Campbell and Bridget Stine, and Jocelyn Thacker and Addi Beaman. All three of the victories were in straight sets.
A ten-run third inning sent the Vincennes Lincoln Lady Alice softball team to a over Southridge. Jacklyn Miller got the win for LHS. Grace Archer homered in the first inning, and drove in five runs overall. Olivia Lewis also added two hits in the contest.
