Our Community Foundation recently awarded a $12,700 grant to the Freelandville Community Home, funded by the Brooks Harting Freelandville Community Home Endowment Fund.
The grant will be used to improve residents’ comfort, meet their needs, and support capital projects.
Founded in 1963 by a local pastor to help his wife age with dignity, the Freelandville Community Home became a community-built project.
Today, it remains community-owned and faith-based, providing caring support in rural Indiana for over sixty years.
