The average price of gas in Indiana has soared above $4.00 a gallon.
The Triple A Motor Club says Wednesday’s average price of gas in the Hoosier State was $4.08 per gallon, 10¢ higher than Tuesday and 10¢ higher than Wednesday’s national average of $3.98 per gallon.
It was also 28¢ higher than a week ago, $1.26 higher than a month ago, and 92¢ higher than a year ago.
Meanwhile Triple-A says the average price of diesel fuel in Indiana Wednesday was $5.17 a gallon, 5¢ higher than Tuesday and 22¢ higher than a week ago.
It was also $1.34 higher than a month ago and $1.54 higher than a year ago.
And the average EV charging price in Indiana on Tuesday was 42¢ per kilowatt hour, the same as Monday and the same as Tuesday’s national average.
