Gas prices continue climbing.
The national average for a gallon of regular jumped overnight to $3.88, according to Triple-A.
That’s up four cents from Wednesday.
In California, where prices are the highest in the country, drivers are paying five-61 a gallon on average.
Meanwhile, Triple-A says the average price of gas in Indiana on Thursday stood at $3.83 a gallon, 3¢ higher than Wednesday and 5¢ lower than Thursday’s national average.
It was also 11¢ higher than a week ago, $1.10 higher than a month ago, and 73¢ higher than a year ago.
Triple-A says the average price of diesel fuel in Indiana on Thursday was $4.96 a gallon, 1¢ higher than Wednesday and 11¢ higher than a week ago.
It was also $1.24 higher than a month ago and $1.33 higher than a year ago.
And the average EV charging price in Indiana on Thursday was 42¢ per kilowatt hour, the same as Wednesday and the same as Thursday’s national average.
