Indiana Conservation Officers rescued two people Monday after they attempted to drive through White River floodwater in Pike County.
They called 9-1-1 and climbed onto the roof of their truck in freezing temperatures.
The Pike County Sheriff’s Department found them along River Road near Dodge City with the use of a drone.
Conservation officers reached their vehicle by boat and transported both subjects to safety.
They were treated and released at the scene.
The Public is reminded to never drive through floodwater and always remember to “Turn Around, Don’t Drown.”
