Bedford Retiree Claims $50,000 Powerball Prize

A Bedford woman is celebrating a fifty-thousand-dollar Powerball win.

Sonya Ingram purchased the lucky ticket at the Quick Stop on 16th Street, matching four out of five numbers plus the Powerball.

Ingram, who is currently retired, says she plans to put most of the winnings into savings, but will use a portion of the prize to help finish restoring her 1969 Ford Torino GT.
