Governor Braun Signs Dozens of Bills into Law

Governor Mike Braun has put his signature on four-dozen bills passed by lawmakers including bills on immigration, student cellphone use, and homelessness.

Braun’s office says another round of bills is expected to be on his desk soon.

Student cellphone use at traditional and charter public schools will be banned starting this fall in Indiana, and poor-performing townships will be required to merge with others in another new law that could affect hundreds of townships.
